Overview: When logistics becomes intelligent, every mile counts

In an industry where time, fuel, and uptime are key to profitability, operational efficiency is crucial for logistics companies.

Limited visibility into driver behavior, manual trip assignments, and the absence of environmental metrics drive inefficiencies at scale.

To address this, we built Rumbo.AI that combines telematics and artificial intelligence to make logistics safer, greener, and more efficient.

The challenge: When routes lack intelligence, inefficiency takes the wheel

Operational analysis revealed three critical pain points:

  • No real traceability of driver performance

  • Inefficient assignment of trips and operational resources

  • Energy-inefficient driving patterns with high emissions

Our challenge was to bring clarity, optimization, and intelligence to every mile of the operation.

What we built: Intelligent trip management for sustainable logistics

We designed Rumbo.AI, a predictive, telematics-driven AI system designed to improve operational performance and sustainability.

The POC includes:

Smart trip assignment: AI matches drivers to routes based on driving behavior, vehicle telemetrics, and historical performance patterns.

Automated carbon footprint tracking: Real-time CO₂ emissions captured per driver and per vehicle, with actionable recommendations to reduce environmental impact.

Real-time performance ranking: Gamified scoring across safety, efficiency, compliance, and carbon impact to encourage continuous improvement.

Every insight delivered by Rumbo.AI helps teams make faster, better, and more sustainable decisions.
